Description: This is the USB 2.0 version of the venerable SanDisk Compact Flash reader. It also comes in versions that reads MMC, SD, SmartMedia and Memory Stick.

All I had to do was plug it in my PC which had a USB 2.0 jack and the reader with the CF card inside was instanly recognized (this is using the Mandrake 9.2 distro). An Icon indicating that it was a removable storage device was placed on the desktop. No need to install any drivers.

What I haven't verified yet is if it downloads data at USB 2.0 speeds.
