The S3 Trio 3D is an older PCI video card. It is capable of 24 bit @ 1280 x 1024 screen resolution w/ the XFree86 S3 Virge driver. I find it to be more than adequate for everyday desktop use, however, being an older card, it is not up to todays gaming and 3D standards. If you want an inexpensive, easy to configure card for everyday use, this card will do well.
