Kernel (uname -r): 2.6.7-gentoo-r11
Distribution: Gentoo



Works with sane-backends 1.0.14 with no problems. Just remember if using a 2.6 kernel there is no scanner module, you have to use libusb (USE="usb" for merging sane-backends in gentoo) and set the line

usb 0x04b8 0x011b

(Vendor and product id taken from lsusb)

then sane-find-scanners should find it.

havent found a way to get the buttons to work yet, hence the 9 for compatibility. transparency adapter works a treat.
