Although the product is able to communicate and sync successfully with Linux, the optional serial-to-USB adapter has problems. I was unsuccessful in getting it to communicate with the adapter (resulting in a slower serial communication speed). Despite the problems with the adapter, the PDA works very well with linux as its host OS.
