Good Carl Zeiss lens with digital zoom. There are a variety of picture modes such as full colour, sepia, black and white, along with different image sizes and quality.
The camera uses the Sony memory stick and the battery is the Sony Infolithium, that drains pretty quickly.
Detected by Gphoto with no problem at all.
