Description: This card works great on Linux 2.4 and probably also on 2.6 very soon. The 3D-acceleration (although not the fastest by todays standards) is provided by drivers from the DRI-project. For TV-out and 3D-support simultaneously you need to use the drivers from the GATOS-project which still (Mar 16, 2004) doesn't seem to work very well on Linux 2.6 with both TV-out and 3D-acceleration enabled (Linux 2.4 is stable) but they are working on it. You can use TV-out without GATOS in VESA-mode (without 3D-acceleration) and if all you want is 3D it should work out of the box on any modern Linux-distribution.

This card (64MB) was autoprobed and configured using the radeon driver, no need for user intervention. Had absolutely no problems whatsoever.

I haven't tried the TV out. I've got no use whatsoever for that, so...

All functions of this card work 100% under kernel 2.6.11-r9. The composite-in and composite-out functions of the card were provided by drivers from GATOS ( http://gatos.sf.net ). 3D acceleration was provided by the Radeon display driver built into the kernel. (NOTE: Loading it as a module requires that you start X, kill X, then restart X. YMMV.) S-Video-out has not been tested on this card because I don't have any hardware that supports S-Video-in (ie-television).
