This motherboard uses Intel's 845e chipset. Mandrake 9.2 ran on it just fine, recognizing the onboard Intel NIC chip.
I had an Audigy soundcard and a GeForce 4 attached to it which were also identified by Mandrake during install.
No longer a cutting edge board but very reliable and runs Linux just fine.
