my board comes equiped with this raid controller and it works beautifully .. i now have 5 of my harddrives plus a burner in my machine and i couldn't be more thankful ;)
below are the options i to compile in my kernel to make
this controller work ...
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_HPT34X=y
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_HPT366=y (i think this is the one used)
