works great with tdfx driver included with xfree86.

It works just fine so long as you make sure to select the right kernel options and install the final drivers.

I have a Voodoo 4500.

Based on the other guy's report I do not think I have my card completely configured. The drivers used by default work in most cases.

I had problems with this card, a Compaq Presario MV500 monitor and Fedora Core 3. Avoid that combination. FC3 is stuck at 640x480. I can set the resolution higher but the refresh hurts my eyes above 640x480. Minislack and SuSE work better with this combination of hardware.
