Turned on, Connected by USB, then installed Linux. After installation, found the printer listed in Mandrake Control Center and KDE Control Center (uses CUPS). It has never missed a beat (owned for almost 2 years). It is as quick and quiet as it claims. Windows users have no troubles printing to this printer, installed as a network printer (through Samba).
