Everything worked correctly and was autoconfigured by SuSE 9.0 except for the integrated MPU-401 port. It asked for a "number" for the port, which I didn't know... and still dont know. What this means is that there is no joystick support using that port, and no integration with external midi devices. All in all, this is a minor consideration and may be less a problem of the board, and more a problem with SuSE or my own ignorance.
