Description: Nextel phone (iDEN capable, of course) with a data cable used as a modem.

Got it working using kppp pretty easily.

init string1 = ATZ
init string2 = ATE1Q0
dial string = ATD

Happily connected with Nextel's packetstream gold service right now (just set the phone number to S=2).

Kernel (uname -r): 2.4.22
Distribution: Fedora Project Core 1

Various issues starting pppd after CONNECT. Spits garbage and ppd hangs/complains about it not being b-bit clean.
