Description: It's an usb key that works with memory sticks, multimedia (MMC) and secure digital cards (SD). You plug into the device the memory you want to use, then plug the device into an usb port (preferably 2.0) and it will be recognized as an removable device that you can write and read.
I'm using Mandrake 9.2 and the automount feature worked flawlessly. You plug in the device and a /mnt/removable icon appears on the desktop.
You don't need any special drivers for this device to work.

Kernel (uname -r): 2.6.13-15.8-default
Distribution: SuSE 10.0

I have tried the JumpDrive Trio (little flap door that opens where the media slides in) with a Sony Memory Stick (4 MB off an old Sony digital camera) on an older laptop -- worked great. I have a newer laptop with USB 2.0. I picked up a 64 MB Memory Stick PRO and SuSE 10 recognized that there was a JumpDrive Trio attached but never found the Memory Stick Pro. Works OK on a WinXP box and a Win2000 box. Any other USB storage device mounts perfectly with SuSE.
