Mandrake picked up the card fine. I installed the Linux driver from nvidia.com to get 3d acceleration (driver has to be run in command prompt to work). It was pretty painless, and I'm a complete newbie!. :)

I have the Ti 500 version of this card, with lspci output
VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV20 [GeForce3 Ti 500] (rev a3) (prog-if 00 [VGA])
I use nVidia's driver, which you can get from nVidia's web page. As of recently, the 2.6.x kernels are supported. Some poking in /etc/XF86Config(-4) is necessary. Graphics acceleration works fine, and with this computer (a P4 1.9 GHz and 1 gig RAM) I get about 2300 FPS.

I have the Visiontek Geforce 3 Ti 200. Works without a flaw on many of the distros I've used. I needed to install the nvidia drivers for 3d acceleration, but other than, it runs great without any problems.
