Description: I bought this printer some time ago because of the strong recommandations to use Epson printers with Linux.

No problems installing and using it with cups

Works a treat using CUPS, plugged it in during Mandy 10 install and everything works with no meddling.

Also note that this printer is USB as well. I use it with USB with no problems.

Work fine.
Mandrake recognizes it immediately.

Nice one. I was given mine, use b/w only with continual refills. I got the colour cartridges 'zapped' by the refill guys to be electronically full, although mechanically empty.
As you gathered, I'm a cheapskate :-).

Windows prints much faster with normal resolution and absolutely sucks in and spits out paper, but linux goes higher resolution.
