The card is easy to get working. You just need the wireless extensions which are built-in for newer kernels and the madwifi drivers (http://www.mattfoster.clara.co.uk/madwifi-2.htm). After installation you just configure the card for your network and it's all good

This is an excellent card. As it uses the Atheros chipset, it is widely supported across many distributions (which have the MadWifi driver), and will usually work out of the box. So far I have tested it with the latest version of Auditor, BackTrack 1.0, and Ubuntu 6.06, and it has worked out of the box with all of them.

Another advantage is that it can be used for pen testing, as this card allows packet injection, can be put into monitor mode, and works well on many pen testing live CDs (as previously mentioned, it works with the latest versions of Auditor and BackTrack).

10/10.
