Description: Flatbed USB, PS/2 Scanner. Works with software install in Windows 98, without software--out of the box--in Windows XP.
No known Linux or UNIX support whatever that I know of. I have HEARD reports of people getting it running in Linux and FreeBSD, but it's never worked in SuSE or Mandrake for me. They just say it's "unsupported."

You will find this is detected by SANE, and all the functions appear to work. However, the scans are unusable, the image is shadowed, colours are distorted and there are different coloured vertical stripes superimposed. You can just make out what you scanned.

Pity, it's quite a robust old workhorse. It also shows how near the SANE people have got to it...
