Description: This was one of the first socket7 motherboards to be equiped with AGP style connection for video cards. Using the VIA Apollo VP3 this board is totally compatible with Linux as a legacy board.

Some basic features:

Supports Intel Pentium MMX, AMD K6-II and Cyrix cpu's from 100mhz to 450mhz.

3 DIMM supporting SDRAM up to 768MB of RAM.

VIA Apollo VP3 chipset.

1 AGP, 4 PCI and 2 ISA expansion slots.

Distribution: Slackware 9.0, Redhat 7.3, FreeBSD 5.1



Like mentioned above, one of the very first socket7 boards that supported AGP video cards. Nice motherboard you can find failry cheap at second hand stores now. Didn't have any problems installing both Slackware, Redhat and FreeBSD using this board.
