Kernel (uname -r): 2.6.30-gentoo-r8
Distribution: Gentoo 10.0 x86

I have two of the 2.66 GHz, 533 MHz FSB variant of this chip running in an E7501-based motherboard I got used for just about free. Each CPU has HyperThreading, which is properly detected under Linux. The CPUs each have onboard thermal sensors that are only seen by the motherboard's W83627HF's sensor chip. They are very stable, aren't obscenely hot when paired with an okay heatsink like the Dynatron H66G, and work well in my file server. Performance isn't all that great, but it's decent considering this is seven-year-old hardware.
