I give it a 6 because it does work right out of the box as a basic keyboard, but if you want to use the extra keys in Linux you'll have to do a lot of work and some googling.

Also I said the XFree86 keyboard was the Logitech Internet Navigator Keyboard but actually the keyboard layout most close to the Elite is the Logitech Cordless Desktop Navigator which would require this entry in /etc/X11/XF86Config-4
