The Actiontec Dual PC Modem has a built-in 56k modem, two built-in Ethernet ports, and it runs embedded Linux o*n the ARM processor.

I was totally amazed by this external modem, which was a breeze to install. I had no idea what was in store for me but when I searched the internet i realized that it was running Embedded Linux. Awesome.

And it didn't always cost so much. There was a time when you could get it for $50.

All you need to do is telnet to the IP and voila!

Here is a very good article on hacking the Actiontec DPC Modem

It also runs with my SuSE 8 and all other Linux distributions because all you have to do is just Telent to it. It also runs fine in Windows 98 and above.
