This is an excellent 40 GB 7200 RPM hard drive from Maxtor that works flawlessly using Linux.

pc not completed. most hardware installed . no os. minor
problem with electrical connection. cannot find plastic pin
jack to fit motherboard power input strip.
motherboard from cyberguys as with cpu. maxtor dr p c club, video card pc club, rest had on stock. case; unkown make but front cover facade is tower full,
71/2" x 161/4" x 241/2' 300w pws (3) bays 31/2" (2) int and (1) ext fdd, (6) 51/2" bays ext . 48x creative labs cdrom wd cavier ? 6.gb & 40gb maxtor main hd

Installs like a dream. drive runs a bit warm so air space above and below is helpful
