Description: Network Everywhere was Linksys's home branding name for a little while before they just started selling everything under the name Linksys. Don't let the brand naming fool you, its just another DEC/tulip uber-generic chipset. 2.2.x kernels sometimes needed a scan-pci utility you can find on Donald Becker's old site. Generic old tulip.o as the module.

A DEC 21*40 clone using the tulip driver.

Works great. Haven't had any problems so far. Fully supported by the kernel.

Very compatible. As said before uses the tulip module which is always in the kernel source.

Does it get detected as "ADMtek Comet rev 17" ? It's getting detected as that in the dmesg listing, but it uses the tulip module.

Thats all you need and it should run like a champ.

As everyone else has said, this card functions perfectly under linux. I did have some weird problems with DHCP using SuSE, but those were most likely my fault since DHCP has worked in every other distro I've used.

Worked right out of the box with the tulip driver in ubuntu. I couldn't ask for more.
