Description:

I've got a 64MB version of this product but the instructions should be appicable for other USB pens:
When I ran fdisk -l with the pen plugged into the usb port I got the following output:
Disk /dev/sda: 65 MB, 65454080 bytes
6 heads, 63 sectors/track, 338 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 378 * 512 = 193536 bytes
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sda1 * 1 338 63850 6 FAT16
Disk /dev/hda: 20.0 GB, 20003880960 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 2432 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/hda1 * 1 899 7221186 83 Linux
/dev/hda2 900 2432 12313822 5 Extended
/dev/hda5 900 1233 2682823 82 Linux swap
/dev/hda6 1234 2432 9630936 83 Linux
The first two of these refer to my USB Pen, I then as root I did:
mkdir /mnt/disgo
In /etc/fstab I added the following:
/dev/sda1 /mnt/disgo auto users,noauto 0 0
I'm using KwikDisk to mount and unmount it and everything is hunky-dory.
Cheers
Amos

Disgo Lite 64MB USB pen
Web site: http://www.mydisgo.com
It works like magic! I bought it, put it in the USB, booted Mandrake 10.1 and it recognized it immediately. That's all there is to it - I saved some files on it then put the pen into a Windows PC and recovered them. There is some software but only for extra functions. Nothing else is needed for simple use.
I have a dual disk Pentium PC with Win98 on one disk and the MDK Linux on the other. The pen is great for transferring data from Linux to Win98, or elsewhere.
I'm in the UK and bought the pen from PC World for 20 GB pounds in January 2005. Larger memories are proportionately cheaper.
