SuSE automatically configured and installed the proper kernel; it runs perfectly.

Kernel (uname -r): 2.4.22-10mdk
Distribution: Mandrake 9.2

It works excellent on Mandrake 9.2
It also works with RedHat 9 and SuSE 7.3
It was configured and set automaticly by the installer. Nothing manual.
I think it will work on mostly every distribution.
Works as fine as in Windows 98 and XP.

Kernel (uname -r): 2.4.21-13mdk
Distribution: Mandrake 9.1

I have Mandrake 9.1 and win2k in the same box, it works great with both of them.
Mandrake did set everything automatically.

I heard I may have problems with the heating but not at all.

About the price: I don't remember how much was it, but it was a little bit more expensive than a P-IV when I got the box (about a year ago).

Kernel (uname -r): 2.4.26
Distribution: gentoo

Installed it myself. Instructions were adequate (first time I ever installed a CPU). Linux detected it perfectly, as did my BIOS.

I can compile code while listening to xmms, with a couple of browsers open without any freezing, slowing etc. Couldn't do that with the old Duron 950.
