Description: Ati drivers have always been a headache. This card isn't an expection. Its only covered from XFree 4.0.0 and up. 16Mb of vid ram, AGP 2x, does the job more then adequately.

After some initial headache with XFree86 it worked fine.

Three different distros and it was always recognized during the install and proformed flawlessly with no changes to the default drivers The rage 128 pro chipset on a xpert 2000 pro

I have used this card with XFree86 3.3.6 (I think) through the version that comes with RH 9.0, and now with Xorg 6.7. The card has both Pro, 2x and 4x modes (at least the one I bought does). I never had to bother with drivers.
