Description: Although not listed in the compatibility list for SANE, there is a sourceforge project with a 4300C patch. You must apply the patch to the SANE source and compile.

Was installed by default. This was my first install of Linux and when I logged on the first time into KDE, the scanner was one of the icons on the desktop. Works great.
