Additional: Budget Laptop, about 7 lbs. (pounds)
Black and silver, Factory installed OS: Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit SP 1
=================================
This laptop performs really well. It's pretty fast, the display is nice, has a built in microphone, has a full standard keyboard, has 3 GB of memory, and is still working almost flawlessly even after 3 years.

Problems that have arised before: touchpad mouse temporarily stops working, 10 key stops working (the other number keys are fine).
Areas of concern: sound output quality is not the best
Note: there are even older Windows 7 laptops that don't have 3 GB memory. But 4-6 GB is becoming the standard.

*NB: The above info was put into the Description field, which should only contain technical information. Your experience on a particular distro should be in a review.
