This camera works flawlessly using the usb-storage module.
Plug it in, load the module if it doesn't load automatically for you:

modprobe usb-storage

And by default will use the vfat filesystem to read off the memory card:

mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /mnt/<your-directory>
