Description: This USB wireless adapter works in Linux, but not particularly well. As far as I know, no native Linux driver has been written for it yet, so it requires ndiswrapper, but my results are less than perfect. The connection is unstable, going out frequently and requiring me to reset it.

I do have a problematic wireless network where the cable modem randomly stops receiving a signal (I have never known why, and have never had the expertise nor put in the effort to find out why), so this AE2100 may not be entirely at fault, but...I had far fewer problems with the connection when I used my older Linksys WMP54G. The AE2100 will probably work much better when a native Linux driver is written. I'm not sure I would recommend it.
