Description: Slightly older model, works fully with Linux. Manufacturer provides binary drivers from their website in rpm and deb format. Installation instructions on said website are complete and accurate. Printing and scanning works, could not test the fax from Linux. Manufacturer does not provide drivers specifically for 64 bit, but requires the user to install the 32 bit drivers. This may cause a conflict in your package manager, force it to install the 32 bit drivers. The 32 bit drivers works just as well on 64 bit systems as their native environment.

Device offers printing up to and including A3 format, scanning and copying is limited to A4 size or smaller. Connection via network (LAN: RJ45, Cat 5 cable minimum), wireless LAN (IEEE 802.11b/g) or USB2.0.

Device also offers non-Linux features like printing from memory cards and photo camera's, and of course copying documents directly with the copier function. Ink cartridges are accessible from the front: black, cyan, magenta and yellow.
