To start with, This is my first build and not exactly sure what to put down. Also, I didn't buy this board for the "HTPC Ready" aspect of it. It does have DVI and HDMI outputs, But I mainly got it for the fact that it has IDE and a fdd connector (1 each) and 4 ram slots, so far I have not been able to boot using the IDE hard drive and have yet to get the floppy to work (I can access the IDE hard drive). It does boot quite nicely and rather fast from a WD "my passport" USB2 external drive though, with is much larger and faster than my IDE 40 gig HDD. Lots of option for "unlocking" and "overclocking", depending on your choice of CPU. I'm usin a Sempron 145 and have been able to OC it to 3.3GHz and seems to be stable so far. Have 4 gig of Patriot G2 mem installed. As far as the onboard video goes, looks good to me. Ran glxgears for 4-5 minutes and got a avg. of around 5425 FPS, It goes from Fiji to Fairbanks almost instantaneously in Google Earth. My last setup was also onboard - SiS something or other and very low in the 3 digits (150?) IIRC.
Have Had it up and running about a week now, I could be happier I suppose but this box is a quantum leap from what I was using before.
I should probably get me a Sata HDD and a LCD monitor sometime.
