Would you recommend the product? yes | Price you paid? (in USD): $1,200.00 | Rating: 9

Kernel (uname -r): 2.6.38-bpo.2-amd64
Distribution: Debian 6.0.2 stable (squeeze)

Very good and reliable laptop to use with Linux. Rarely reboots the laptop. Wireless, suspend/hybernation/resume, audio, webcam works. Mine doesn't have bluetooth, WiMAX or card reader.

Distro tried:
- Ubuntu 8.04
- Ubuntu 8.10
- Sabayon 5.0
- Ubuntu 10.04
- Debian 6.0.2 with backported 2.6.38 kernel

Of all I think I like Debian 6 the best. See also here:

Others reported doing well with Gentoo [1], Slackware [2].
