Notes:
Although the site says it has Optimus, it actually can be put into 3 different modes effective on next boot:
Intel only
Nvidia only
Optimus

Do NOT delete the 16 MB partition of type EFI (FAT-12/16/32) at the end of the disk. If you delete it, it will disable boot booster (speeds up booting) and express gate / splashtop (if you kept that partition as well). I deleted it to see what it does, and I fixed it by re-creating right after (now 18 MB).
For wifi, the best driver is:
brcmsmac
which can be found in the latest kernels in the staging drivers.

NOTE: I have disabled the internal wifi card and bluetooth (I don't use it), because the wifi card causes crashes on any OS. I bought and am using an external USB wifi card.
RAM:
I had a hard time finding RAM that works with this netbook. I know that these 2 work:
Transcend 2GB DDR3-1333
Samsung 2GB DDR3-10600
Graphics:
NVIDIA ION GT218
Intel GMA 3150
You need the uvcvideo driver for the camera.
For HDMI audio to work properly with the nvidia drivers you must create a file '/etc/modprobe.d/sound.conf' with:
options snd-hda-intel probe_mask=0xffff,0xfff2
Remember to run 'hdparm -B 254 /dev/sda' on boot so the HDD doesn't destroy itself by spinning up and down continuously.
The ethernet card works, but can give spurious interrupts and may cease to function until next boot.
One more word of warning, the ASUS site says “The 1015PN is capable of smooth, crystal-clear playback of high definition videos in 1080p on an HDTV or big screen via an HDMI port.”. The fact is that it CANNOT play 1080p videos without stuttering on any OS. It can however output in 1080p on the HDMI port. I suppose the ambiguity on their site is deliberate. Still, it does play 720p videos without stuttering on any OS.

A great netbook, and everything seems to be running just fine. Currently, I am using some experimental and staging drivers for it, and the atl1c ethernet driver causes IRQ 19 to be disabled sometimes, and sometimes it produces bogus transfer info for ifconfig. However, everything else is stable. Ethernet does work. The price was good. It can run 720p videos using 4 threads, but it does get hot. If it were a bit more powerful and would run less hot I would get rid of my desktop and just use this. The battery time should be about 4-6 hrs in nvidia only mode, more in the intel only mode (6-8 hrs).
