Would you recommend the product? yes | Price you paid? (in USD): $25.00 | Rating: 9

Kernel (uname -r): 2.6.35-gentoo-r15
Distribution: Gentoo x86

I bought one of these boards to replace the old Socket A motherboard in my HTPC when it died. I needed a unit that had a reasonable amount of power, low cost, very high reliability, fit in a smallish ATX case, and was relatively quiet. This unit works well for that purpose. The only negatives to it are its lack of a full-length PCI Express x16 slot and that it only supports a few Core Duo-based CPUs. I rectified the lack of a PCIe x16 slot by using a PCIe x8 to PCIe x16 adapter, which allowed me to use a low-profile PCIe x16 graphics card to output to the TV. The lack of support for Socket M Core 2-based CPUs is not all that big of a deal as the two Xeon LV 2.00 CPUs (basically Core Duo T2500s) perform very well with MythTV, especially with a more recent NVIDIA GPU supporting VDPAU.
