Description:
|
I'm not a gamer, but this is the most ergonomic rat (mouse) I ever had.
The mouse has some issues with out-of-the-box Xorg configurations. Using the profile button (xev buttons 13,14 & 15) may cause the mouse to 'hang'.
To overcome the problem with X.Org Server 1.9.3 add the following section to a file in
/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d
or your
/etc/X11/xorg.conf (if you have any):
Section "InputClass"
Identifier "Mouse Remap"
MatchProduct "Saitek Cyborg R.A.T.7 Mouse"
MatchDevicePath "/dev/input/event*"
Option "ButtonMapping" "1 2 3 4 5 0 0 8 9 7 6 12 0 0 0 0 0"
EndSection
Hardware buttons 13 - 17 have been disabled.
Swapping button 10 with 7 and button 11 with 6 gets the horizontal scrolling working.
