Description:
|
Approx 8" x 1" x 6" white box with wireless antennae and sockets for power, modem (USB), LAN, WAN. 54 Mbps. Compatible with several 3G modems including K3765 from Huweii Technology. Virtually plug and play but also can be used with ADSL and cable, VPN connections. ~$100 AU. Configuration of router (mainly for security)reasonably easy and comes with ethernet cable to set this up via web browser interface and using instructions on CD. Works with OpenSuSE 11.2 and Kubuntu 9.04 live CDs, pretty automagically. May work with others but these are the only ones I've tried. Has a reset button also.
