This is an older, discontinued model. The performance in Windows 2000 and XP was ok. I recall it was dirt cheap when I bought it. It never worked in Linux prior to Slackware 13.1. It still does not work in Ubuntu 10.04 LTS.
My linux joy was short lived as I now get "permission denied" errors for both root and the regular user. The permission to access the USB bus are correct and I am in the correct group. Weird.
