This card works fine if configured properly (using the bttv module).
To configure this device:
- Edit the /etc/modules file to include bttv:

sudo nano /etc/modules (add 'bttv' to the end of the file)
- Edit /etc/modprobe.d/bttv to configure the module:

sudo nano /etc/modprobe.d/bttv
The content to add to the file:

#bttv
alias char-major-81 videodev
alias char-major-81-0 bttv

- Run the following command in a terminal to configure and run the module for the first time:

sudo modprobe -C /etc/modprobe.d/bttv bttv
There you have it: a fully functioning ATI TV Wonder without proprietary drivers.
