It works great at first glance, installing windows and other OSes with no problem. However, if you try to load linux, there's a strange occurance. If the OS is i386 optimized (like most 32-bit are) the SATA drives will not be seen. i686 OSes and x86-64 bit will work just fine, and they run faster on most systems anyways. The programs themselves do not matter, just the kernel.
A strange twist: this error does not occur on kernels from the LTS version of ubuntu 6.06. From there, an i686 kernel is installed that you should use regularly.
