Description: I have only printed one thing so far, but this printer works fine in Linux if you install the FOO2XQX driver. (I downloaded it at http://foo2xqx.rkkda.com/ .) I installed it and then rebooted in case it was needed (it might not have been). When I got back, the printer was available in the control center. Once I remembered to take the orange plugs off the toner cartridge (the CD manual, which is unimpressive, neglected to mention it), printing a document was fast and easy.

EDIT: Documents print, but there is at least one quirk. Printing was interrupted because I ran out of paper. When I put more in, the printer did not print the second page; the document had been lost from the queue. I had to start over from the second page.

It's been working fine for me. Except I use the hplip plugin + drivers.
