Description:

The Canon PIXMA MP-210 is a multi-function printer-copier-scanner with full sane support a/o 1.0.20
Prior to libsane 1.0.20 the device may incorrectly show up in Google searches as being supported by the canon_630u, but this is incorrect. It is however, fully supported by the 'pixma' backend for sane.
On Slackware 13.0 specific installations, the standard installed sane library version is 1.0.19 so an upgrade must be performed by downloading the latest libraries and deps from the slackware-current packages.
also, on Slackware 13.0, you will need to create an entry in /etc/sane.d/dll.conf for pixma.conf
No editing of the pixma.conf file is neccessary.
