I bought 2 of these pci cards for my pc running mythbuntu 9.10. My cable is analog and the card works fine with this. The card is able to handle digital cable as well. People using mythbuntu have written that they are able to get this card to display their digital cable just fine. Since I am not certain of this, I gave it an 8 out of 10. The packaging on this card indicates that it is a Pinnacle card. However, it was listed at newegg and microcenter as a Hauppauge card.
