Description: The Nikon Coolpix 775 is a 2MP digital camera circa 2001. It has a good lens and all the features you would expect form a Nikon camera. Pretty good manual controls, lots of flash settings, 1600x1200 resolution pics, ect. ect. ect. The camera uses the standard USB interface to talk to the compact flash card it uses for memory. The device works with the standard USB Mass Storage Adapter driver under Linux 2.4/2.6.

This device works great with the linux usb mass storage controller driver. I paid a lot for it since I got it new, but I am sure it could be found on ebay for much cheaper. Nikon decided to use the standard mass storage interface on all there cameras starting with the 755/855/955 line so all there cameras from 2001 till now should work perfectly with linux.
