Description: I have been using this motherboard for a couple of months now. Mandrake 9.1 couldn't find lan drivers for realtek ethernet adapter. Using USB cable modem - no problems with CBCEther adapter driver. Using Sound Blaster 64v/128 sound card. Skips a little when processing large amount of information.

I've seen these boards work well in plenty of linux boxes -- even a few 1U rack servers. They're cheap and they work. The original poster indicated trouble detecting the lan card, but I've never seen this. The driver is RealTek 8139c, which is a well supported card.
