This little PCI card I purchased two of at a 'bargain electronics/computer store' for about $12.00 CDN each.
It was labeled 'Motorola Ethernet Card' on the package, perhaps because it contains a Motorola chip on it.
It identifies as 'ADMtek NC100' and is also possibly known as 'ADMtek Comet' according to internet searches I have done.
The card works perfectly using the in-kernel 'tulip' driver, with no particular configuration required. I am using two of them simultaneously in my firewall box, running Slackware with a 2.6.24.4 kernel. No problems from day one.
It has an expansion slot for an EPROM or something, maybe a LAN option ROM for booting with, but the socket is empty.
It came with a driver CDROM that contained mostly Windows stuff, but in a Linux folder on the CDROM was a text file with a few details about the linux Tulip driver, which pointed me in the right direction.
