Just plug-and-play. I even don't know which driver it uses, it just worked. The image is of quite good quality.

It works with skype and cheese, does not work with xsane (probably problem with xsane or kernel).

Microphone works (you have to select it in skype).

User manual is crap and the software disk only includes stuff in windows format. So I even don't know about any additional functionality and whether it works or not.

uvcvideo module handles this webcam (v4l1_compat module is also loaded automatically).
Can confirm that camera works perfectly with Skype and cheese. I haven't tested the microphone.
