I have just found out...usb stick can be booted...you enable it as if its a hard drive...by changing the hard drive boot order.

rating is 7 as there are only 2 spare pci card slots and one pci-express slot.
I have used the video slot so can not rate the onboard vga feature.
ECS is not the most expensive brand out there, hint hint yet for budget builders this is a great board..onboard vga, snd, LAN, USB x 4 slots back...2 for front off connections on mobo.
The whole build cost A$480 with 2 G of ram and cpu etc so I am guessing this board is about A$120
