I've had this camera for quite awhile. I had trouble getting to load as a generic USB storage device, but it works great with gtkam.

i pluged it in ubuntu opend gphoto ( i think its called ) automaticly and seen my pictures

Using FC4, I simply plugged in the camera to a USB port and Gnome automatically offered to import photos (dialog box).

All photos imported quickly, and easily.
