Kernel (uname -r):
Distribution: DEB 64bit package [libltdl7] (for Ubuntu 8.10 or later) iscan_2.23.0-3.ltdl7_amd64.deb 379,392 bytes iscan-plugin-gt-x750_2.1.0-5_amd64.deb 162,822 byte

I have owned my Epson Perfection 4490 photo scanner for many years and it worked perfectly with Windows. However, until today, I have never figured out how to use it with Linux.

Today I succeeded!

I downloaded and installed this program:

DEB 64bit package [libltdl7] (for Ubuntu 8.10 or later)
iscan_2.23.0-3.ltdl7_amd64.deb 379,392 bytes
iscan-plugin-gt-x750_2.1.0-5_amd64.deb 162,822 byte

Worked beautifully! Saved color photos and color docs to Picasa. I also could have sent it to my printer.

Dick
